Business Central Application Support Specialist

What will you do?

As a Business Central Application Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support, optimization and continuous improvement of our business applications, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

You will be the link between our business users, IT team and external partners. You will analyze application-related questions and incidents, identify root causes and ensure that issues are resolved effectively. You will also help users get the most out of Business Central and contribute to improving the way our business processes are supported by our applications.

Your responsibilities

• Providing 2nd-line application support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving application incidents and user questions

• Investigating issues in collaboration with key users, IT colleagues and external implementation/support partners

• Translating business requirements and user needs into practical application solutions

• Supporting the configuration, optimization and further development of Business Central

• Testing and supporting new functionality, changes and system releases

• Monitoring integration and data flows between Business Central and other applications

• Identifying recurring issues and working on structural improvements and root-cause solutions

• Supporting users across our international locations and helping them work effectively with our applications

• Documenting solutions, processes and application changes

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our ERP and application landscape

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a strong background in ERP systems, application support, software development, or application architecture who is ready to take ownership of our core business software.

You are analytical, service-oriented, and able to translate a user's problem or business requirement into a clear functional or technical solution. You enjoy troubleshooting issues, understanding business processes, and finding ways to optimize applications.

Whether your background is in application support, functional management, software engineering, or system architecture, what matters most is your ability to understand how ERP systems support business operations.

In addition, you have:

• Professional experience in ERP application support, functional management, software development, or application architecture

• Proven ability to analyze and resolve incidents, errors, and business user requests

• Good understanding of core ERP business processes (e.g., Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Inventory, or Supply Chain)

• Hands-on experience working with databases (SQL), reporting tools (Power BI), or data integrations

• Experience collaborating with business users, internal IT teams, and external software vendors

• Experience with testing, system releases, and application change management

• A structured, proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement

• Fluent English (written and spoken) for daily collaboration with international teams

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or 4PS Construct) is preferred, alongside a strong background in general ERP processes and application management.

Where will you work?

You will be based at our office in Galați, Romania, while collaborating daily with colleagues and business users across our international organization.
